Join me on a magnificent road trip taking in the FES SACRED MUSIC FESTIVAL and the ESSAOUIRA GNAOUA AND WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL and many more exotic destinations. Small intimate groups (8), riad accommodation, healing hot springs, day spas, hammams, massage, bird watching, extreme souking!, cooking class, sight seeing, gentle walking, delicious dining, adventures and dancing. Suits an age group of 38-58. Over four weeks, via taxis, trains and buses we indulge in "a girls road trip" visiting Casablanca, Fes, Chefchouen, Moulay Bousselham, Marrakech, Essaouira and Oualidia.

New Morocco Forum
There is a new Yahoo Groups list devoted to the exchange of information between foreigners living and working in Morocco.
To join, visit the Morocco Scholars website:

and then follow the instructions for sending a short note to the list's moderator.
This list is intended to facilitate the answering and asking of questions and the posting of useful information and tips regarding living, working, and conducting research in Morocco. Examples of appropriate uses of the list include finding and passing on apartments and furniture, asking how to gain research clearance at a particular library, asking where to find a good tailor, asking how to get a carte de sejour or a phone line, or posting the information you've collected regarding shipping possessions back to your home country.
Advertisements and commercial notices are better placed in the classified ads provided by ArtiZany. The Morocco Scholars list is also not designed to focus on tourism-related questions, although some may be appropriate. For general news about Morocco - go to The View From Fez.

Cold in the UK? - Surf Morocco!
If this weather and cold is getting you down then why not join us for a week of sun and waves in Morocco in March, there are still a few spaces left! We're headed to Taghazout a small village just outside Agadir. Chris Thomson will join us again to provide personal surf tuition for everyone.
Taghazout boasts the epic Anchor Point and is bang in the middle of the action so whether we head to a nearby village or make a short drive north or south we will always find the best waves of the day. Mellow beach breaks.. heavy hollow reef breaks.. rolling point breaks.. something for everyone from beginners to the really experienced.
We might use different vehicles to split the group in the day so that everyone surfs the waves they want, but come evening everyone eats together on the deck overlooking the ocean. mmmm .. tempted? Trip dates: 18th to 25th March 2007
